After a five-day trial in August 2024 marred by security concerns of juror doxing and intimidation by Antifa, an Oregon jury convicted a Portland Antifa member for the first time. Portland Antifa ringleader Alissa Eleanor Azar (b. Feb. 12, 1991) was found guilty of a felony over her violent involvement in a 2021 attack. ContributeAndy Ngo was beaten on the streets by antifa for his journalism exposing their violent extremism. There are few journalists who cover the far-left in the U.S. The work is dangerous and subjects one to death threats and violence. Corporate media is afraid to cover antifa because of the risk to their reporters. That’s why you see such inadequate or inaccurate coverage in the mainstream press.
