On April 11, 2023, I spoke with Laura Ingraham about my exclusive reporting on Moses J. Lopez, the trans suspect accused of plunging a knife into the neck of a Portland taxi driver and murdering him in a surprise attack. Lopez had been arrested days earlier for allegedly threatening a person with a knife, but was quickly released without bail in another Oregon county. The victim is Reese McDowell Lawhon. Local media and police have refused to mention that the suspect is trans.
